Forza Horizon 6 is one of those racing games that reminds me why this series is still so fun. The Japan setting gives the game a fresh feel, with a good mix of city streets, mountain roads, highways, and scenic areas that make every race look different. The world feels alive, and even when I’m not racing, it is easy to get distracted just driving around, testing cars, and exploring the map.

The driving feels smooth and satisfying, whether you are using a supercar, a drift build, or something slower and more casual. I like that the game does not force you to play one certain way. You can focus on races, challenges, drifting, collecting cars, or just cruising around. The car selection is also a major strength because there is enough variety for different kinds of players.

The visuals are probably one of the best parts of the game. The lighting, weather, and environments make the game feel polished, and Japan was a great choice for the Horizon Festival. The soundtrack and festival atmosphere also help keep the game exciting without feeling too serious.

That being said, the story is not the strongest part. It is mostly there to push you into events, but I do not think most people play Forza Horizon for a deep storyline anyway. The main appeal is the freedom, the cars, and the fun of driving.

Overall, Forza Horizon 6 is a great racing game with beautiful locations, fun gameplay, and a lot to do. It improves on what the series already does well while giving players a new setting that feels different from previous games. If you enjoy open-world racing games, this is definitely worth playing.
